Announcement    My name is Ed Anderson living in the quaint village of Apopka, FL.; a bedroom community of Orlando, FL.
Centuries ago the indigenous folks, with a humorous glint in their eyes, named our little settlement which means “Place of the Potato Eaters.” There are many citrus groves & nurseries including a mushroom factory supported by our huge cattle industry, but zero potato patches...go figure.

Despite the lack of potatoes, my passion lies in creating fine art photographs that capture the beauty of our world in unique & one-of-a-kind ways. Little did I know that this pursuit would lead me on an ambitious adventure filled with laughter, determination, a touch of absurdity, and a little pain.

My mentors advise that pictures are only half of the excitement associated with digital art and a good story completes the magic of the transformation. So I spend a little time researching the history of my subjects in order to provide stimulating and little known facts. Some of my customers will even print these stories and attach them to the back of their prints.

Many of these photographs are digitally processed to simulate the look and feel of classical oil paintings like those of Renoir that remind one of French Impressionism. These exhibit characteristics commonly associated with Old Masters' Paintings, such as rich and vibrant colors, pronounced brushwork, and a textured surface that characterizes canvas weave. They exhibit a unique and artistic interpretation of reality, blurring the boundaries between traditional painting and digital photography, and providing a visually compelling fusion of two different art forms.

Shop members

  • Ed Anderson

    Owner

I'm a retired chemical engineer who enjoys photography. Besides my for-profit Etsy Shop I provide my services free to my town's eNewspapers, the ApopkaVoice.

Production partners

  • Dana Directo

    ‘Aiea, HI

Dana creates oil on canvas paintings. He has asked me to help him share his work globally as opposed to a single piece of art being displayed in only one museum. I do this through the art of digital multiplication.

  • Occasional Provider of RAW images

    Columbus, OH

Linda provides RAW photos so that I can post-process them to my artistic preferences. The result is a unique photograph that I can sell as wall art through multiple vendors. I have written permission from Linda. Linda wants to focus on the shoot and leave post-processing, marketing, and sales to me.

  • The Digital Artwork Co.

    London, England

One-stop shop for beautiful and versatile digital downloads, perfect for design and crafting needs. Collection includes a wide variety of exquisite, graphics, and artwork, each carefully crafted with the utmost attention to detail. Sam, the owner, provides full copyright approval.

  • Wayland McCoy

    Pasadena, TX

Wayland has taken some amazing photos of mountain scenery. He has kindly shared with me. I take his RAW photos and apply my post-processing vision to his photos.
